Ellie Ruple was recently named Vice President, Business Development, for Potomac Strategy Group, LLC, and opened their Miami office.
Before moving to Miami, Ellie has been working in real estate for the last 11 years previously serving Austin as a director of Perales Engineering, a local civil engineering company. She currently serves as a real estate advisor with All City Real Estate, under principal and founder Kevin Scanlan. Apart from her professional career, she is a dedicated advocate who has served the city of Austin for six years, deeply impacting the community and influencing public policy.
In 2017, Ellie’s passion for creating change for the community began with her hosting her first privately held charity event benefitting for U.S. active duty soldiers at Fort Hood, which provided Christmas presents to local children and showed gratitude to the our military families who have selflessly served our country and communities.
In January 2018, Austin Mayor Steve Adler recognized Ellie’s public contribution by awarding her the prestigious Outstanding Citizen Award.
Appointed by the President Dr. Joseph Pierce Farrell, Ellie also is a Director for the College of Sacred Surgeons and The Princeton Compassionate Care Clinic in Princeton, New Jersey.
Ellie’s commitment to the city has never been more evident than through her dedicated volunteer efforts to restore public safety through the work of local nonprofit Save Austin Now. She has played a major role in raising funds for the organization and has served as a surrogate.
Ellie splits her time between Miami and Austin. She is a native of Midland, TX and lives in downtown Austin with her dog Baby Bear.
